This is a great little cafe, which is dog friendly. It has a very attractive garden with tables dispersed within it. Making it feel secluded and tranquil. This is a real hidden jem in Hampstead, and the staff are friendly, the food / drink is overall very good. Highly recommended, as a place to meet friends or take a book and chill.

I visited this museum in Hampstead and it truly is a hidden gem! We were fascinated by the history so interesting and beautifully presented. We also had lunch there and absolutely loved it. The food was delicious, and the cakes looked super fresh and homemade. The staff were really kind and welcoming, and the flowers around the house make the whole place look stunning. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

I wish I had taken photos of everything we had, but even if I did, it wouldn’t have made it justice. The Buttery Cafe is one of my most favourite places in London. Mostly because the minute you walk in there, you can actually forget that you are indeed still in London. No ambulance and police sirens, no noise pollution, just greenery, good food and great coffee. Their polenta cake, carrot cake, brownies and soup with cheese scone or sourdough bread are second to none - true unpretentious comfort food for the soul. I used to work at the cafe back in 2011 and I remember that one of the key values of the company that runs it is to never compromise with the quality of the ingredients. It is incredibly comforting to see that 12 years later they still adhere to this value and offer superb quality.

Great place to sit and enjoy a coffee while reading. Every time I go I’m greeted by such friendly staff and I know i’m in good hands. Highly recommend!
